Thank you to our vaccine volunteers!

Today marks the final shift for our brilliant vaccine volunteers!
For the past 12 months, more than 100 volunteers have given their time freely to act as vaccination centre marshals at Scarborough Rugby Club – and more recently at the Brunswick Centre and Brook Square Surgery.
The volunteers have received hugely positive feedback from the NHS staff who run the clinics and patients alike. One of the organisers said: “The aim was to ensure we offered an individualised approach within a safe, efficient, mass vaccination site and without you we couldn’t have provided the personal service we did.
“Along the way we had fun, made friends, recruited staff, offered opportunities to do different things and learnt about different organisations in our area. We’ve celebrated birthdays, milestones, and achievements.”
