Summer raffle to support patient care – tickets on sale now!

Saint Catherine’s has launched a summer cash raffle in aid of patient care – with a top prize of £2,500!

The raffle will be drawn on Friday 13 September and the prizes are as follows:

• First prize – £2,500
• Second prize – £250
• Third prize – 5 x £50

Tickets, priced at £1 each, or books of 20, are on sale now in all Saint Catherine’s charity shops and from the fundraising team on 01723 378406.

Nicky, pictured left, who sadly passed away at Saint Catherine’s earlier this year, shared her story to encourage people to support the hospice with fundraising initiatives such as the raffle, which raises tens of thousands of pounds each year for patient care.

Nicky said: “It truly feels as though hospice care is as much about celebrating life as it is ensuring that you can die well and comfortably, something that I have found very special here. I am just embracing life right until the very end and the nurses are helping me to do just that, we manage to have a laugh every single day and I can’t thank them enough for that.

“Please help Saint Catherine’s by supporting this raffle. You will be helping patients and families access this wonderful care when they need it most.”
