Saint Catherine’s is delighted that the Harbour Bar in Scarborough will once again be supporting the Sunrise Walk by offering free refreshments to all participants.
The business in Sandside has supported the event for well over a decade – and this year is helping in a slightly different way.
Susan Stephenson, communications and marketing manager at Saint Catherine’s, explained: “The Sunrise Walk is usually a big, group event with hundreds of people taking part. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing guidelines around safety and social distancing, we are asking supporters to do their own Sunrise Walk during September, wherever they are, in smaller groups of family and friends.
“A much-loved part of the annual event is a pit-stop at the Harbour Bar, which has shown amazing support every year by providing free ice cream and drinks for hundreds of walkers. The team has kindly offered to continue this tradition by offering a free standard ice cream cone, or a hot or cold drink, to everyone who is doing their own Sunrise Walk this September.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to the Harbour Bar for their unwavering dedication and kindness in supporting Saint Catherine’s, year after year. We know our walkers will be thrilled too!”
To claim their ice cream or drink, participants just need to show their confirmation email (on their phone or printed out) to Harbour Bar staff during September and mention the Sunrise Walk.
