Around 250 participants gathered on Scarborough’s Sea front for the Sunrise Walk 2024, to walk in memory of loved ones and raise awareness and funds for patient care at Saint Catherine’s.
Despite the rainy and cloudy weather leading up to the event, we experienced a gorgeous sunrise.
The event has raised over £10,000. We are immensely grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, and donated. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
As part of the event, we also had a Remembrance Ribbons display where participants wrote messages in memory of their loved ones. These heartfelt ribbons are now at the hospice, and anyone who would like to visit and see them is warmly welcome.
As part of the walk, we had a street collection licence, and are delighted to announce that it raised £277.60.
