Saint Catherine’s much-loved Sunrise Walk is back for 2024!

The event is now in its 16th year, having taken place at midnight, sunset and sunrise over the years. The walk has raised nearly half a million pounds for patient care at the hospice.

We will be doing a Sunrise Walk around both Scarborough bays where we can all remember our loved ones together while raising much-needed funds.

On Sunday 29th of September we will meet from 5.30am for a 6am start from the Sea Life Centre and walking around North & South Bay to Scarborough Spa and back again – a total of around 6 miles. This event isn’t a race in any form, we’re all just coming together to remember loved ones and have a lovely morning on Scarborough Sea front.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us! Sign up for the event is £15 for an adult and £5 for a child 16 and under. All tickets include an Ice cream from Harbour Bar and the adult tickets include a T-shirt. There will be an option to purchase children’s T-shirts on the day.

As always, if you can donate or raise sponsorship as part of the event then we would be very grateful and all that you can give will be going direct to patient care at Saint Catherine’s.

We really hope that you’ll come together with us for this year’s Sunrise Walk – together we can make a real difference for those in our area living with a terminal illness.
