Could you make a lasting difference to patient care at Saint Catherine’s by leaving a gift in your will?
We understand that when making a will, your priority is looking after your family and others who are close to you.
It can also be a wonderful opportunity to support a cause you are passionate about and know that you are helping others to be cared for.
Our patients and their families often tell us that the care they have received from Saint Catherine’s has gone far beyond their expectations.
They tell us that as well as easing pain and relieving symptoms, we have shown compassion, treated them as individuals and helped them to maintain their dignity when it mattered most.
Comments include: “I honestly don’t know what would have happened without your support, communication, understanding and guidance.”
“Words cannot express my gratitude for the care and kindness shown.”
“Your kind, calm, professional support was absolutely priceless. Knowing you were a phone call away kept us all going.”
One supporter, Valerie Woodhead, said: “As a family we have always supported Saint Catherine’s as they do such a fantastic job looking after the patients and their families.
“I feel very privileged to have the hospice and the amazing services that they provide on my doorstep and wanted to show my support by taking part in the Make A Will Week and including Saint Catherine’s as a beneficiary in my will.”
It costs £5.5 million a year to provide our services, free of charge, to patients and their families from an area of more than 1,600 square miles, including Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Whitby and Ryedale.
By leaving a gift in your will, you can be a part of something truly special.
How your gift can make a lasting difference:
Your solicitor will be able to advise you of types of legacies and how to go about the process.
You don’t have to tell us about your decision, but we would like the opportunity to thank you.
