Could you make a lasting difference to patient care at Saint Catherine’s by leaving a gift in your will?

We understand that when making a will, your priority is looking after your family and others who are close to you.

It can also be a wonderful opportunity to support a cause you are passionate about and know that you are helping others to be cared for.

Our patients and their families often tell us that the care they have received from Saint Catherine’s has gone far beyond their expectations.

They tell us that as well as easing pain and relieving symptoms, we have shown compassion, treated them as individuals and helped them to maintain their dignity when it mattered most.

It costs £5.5 million a year to provide our services, free of charge, to patients and their families from an area of more than 1,600 square miles, including Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Whitby and Ryedale.

By leaving a gift in your will, you can be a part of something truly special.

How your gift can make a lasting difference:

• £200 pays for a patient to attend our Wellbeing Centre for one day
• £500 pays for one In-Patient Unit bed for one day
• £1,000 pays for our community nurse specialist team for one day
• £5,000 pays for our hospice at home team for one day
• £10,000 is the cost of providing all our care services for one day.

Your solicitor will be able to advise you of types of legacies and how to go about the process.
